CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES FINAL

Last Saturday saw the club championship singles competition come to a conclusion. The weather held off for most of the day and it didn't ruin what was again a fantastic days bowling. This championship never fails to provide games of bowls with so many players that had tried so hard during the four league matches to get themselves in to a top position group leaving others down the order. A huge shout out to Frank Melling, Gary Hayes and Jim Abram.

At half time we were all treated to a great BBQ from Joe Kelly again with Brenda Gillings his glamorous assistant . Also a huge thanks to Sue Davies and the girls for putting on the food to go with the BBQ.

The bowling was seamless and the organizing faultless because I ran it.lol.

I make no apologies for mentioning all this as it always gets taken for granted so well done to the club.

Back to  the bowling. Really good games all day and the results are.

Better luck next time
