Race Night 2021

Our ever popular Race Night is back!

Tickets cost £5 which includes a pies, peas and pud supper.

Presentation Night and Pre-Season Get Together

Saturday 7th March 2020 at 7.30 p.m., Churchtown Conservative Club.

Tickets £5 to include finger buffet, bingo, raffle and fun quiz.

Away Day 2019

 
End of season competion – SATURDAY 21st SEPTEMBER 2019at GUYS THATCHED HAMLET, BILSBORROW, NR GARSTANG.The cost for the day will be £30 each including coach travel,  greenage, and meals. The coach pick up around 9.00am and leave about 7.30 pm.

Lunch: selection of sandwiches served with chips, and 2 course evening meal;Main: -Gammon Steak, Fish of the day, Chargrilled Chicken Salad, Guys Homemade Lasagne.  Dessert if required: Chocolate fudge cake or apple pie – served with Cream – £2.95.

We need 35 people to attend. If we do not get enough entries from our Club Members we will open the competition to family members and friends. The list, including the menu,  is in the bowling hut.

The Annual General Meeting will be held at Churchtown Conservtive Club on Monday 4th February 2019 prompt 7.30 start please.
 

If you have any issues you wish discussing under any other business – please let me have these in writing before 1st February 2019

Please note only matters discussed by the Committee prior to the A.G.M. will be discussed.

There will be chance to pay your fees at the A.G.M.

Rearranged Presentation Night and Preseason Party

Saturday March 16th 2019

Churchtown Conservative Club

7.30 p.m.

This is one of the main events on our calendar and promises to be a good night.

Ticket price – £5 including buffet supper

All proceeds go to the green restoration fund.

Presentation Night 2018 – Cancelled

Presentations will now take place on the evening of the AGM early next year, date yet to be arranged. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

 

End of Season Competition

RONNIE FINNIGAN END OF SEASON COMPETITION -SAMLESBURY SPORTS & SOCIAL ASSOCIATION – CANBERRA CLUB ON SATURDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER 2018.

COACH WILL BE PICKING UP AS USUAL – DETAILS TO FOLLOW – COST FOR COACH AND PRIZE MONEY IS £15.00 – £5.00 none refundable deposit required for the coach.

OPEN TO ALL MEMBERS – IF WE DO NOT GET ENOUGH PEOPLE TO COVER THE COST OF THE COACH WE WILL OPEN THIS UP TO OTHER BOWLERS.

Bob’s Sponsored Bike Ride 2018 – back on again!

Bob’s knee operation has now been put back for a 2nd time.
 
He is therefore now doing his sponsored bike ride – Liverpool to Chester & back on Sunday 1st July 2018.
 
He is riding for Crossens Bowling Club.
 
There is a sponsor form in the Club – please support Bob by sponsoring him – all proceeds to the Club.

This year’s end of season match will be held on Saturday 22nd September at The Canberra Club at Bae Systems, Salmesbury.

Presentation Night and Christmas Buffet

The  presentation night and Christmas buffet will take place on SATURDAY 9TH DECEMBER 2017 commencing 7.30 at CHURCHTOWN CONSERVATIVE CLUB.

Tickets are £5.00 with all proceeds going to Club Funds – tickets available from Janice or Sue Davies.

RAFFLE PRIZES WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Thank you to all who made the race night such a great success.

The final total raised was just in excess of £900 all of which goes to club funds. Brilliant!
