END OF SEASON

As you all know the Green is now closed until (hopefully) next March. Keith has already started on the winter green maintenance – see attached photo.
THANK YOU’s to Sue Andersen for running the round robins on on a Tuesday evening and Thursday morning. These were well supported and enjoyed by all.
To John Ashcroft for all his hard work in planting the borders and doing additional work around the green – looks wonderful, and to Margaret for her help with the refreshments 
To all those who helped with the working parties in general tidying up and hedge trimming.
To Bob Mitchell for getting hot water to the pavillion – much appreciated.
Big thank you to Keith for his work, during the winter period; through lock-down and throughout the season on restoring, and looking after the green; for updating the pavillion and for organising and running the Club Championship.
Thank you to anybody I have missed out!!
BUT the biggest thank you of all goes to you our members who have supported the Club during this weird season; who have supported the round robins; club competitions, and social bowling. Lets hope that next season will return to some sort of normality.
