End of Season Away Day

Sunday 7th September 2025 was the away day @ The Black Horse in Croston. 31 bowlers and Gladys started a round robin competition, we had 8 groups of 4 with some very strong bowlers in the same group – it looked like the trophy could have been any ones.  But unfortunately the weather was not kind to us and we abandoned play as we felt the green was unsafe to play on.

We retired to the pub and after some drying out and drawing our raffle we had our meal which was as usual excellent.
