May Random Pairs Competition 2025

The May Random Pairs Competition was held on Sunday 25th May 2025.

Although we did not have the sunny warm weather that we had been experiencing over the last few weeks we were blessed that there was no rain but the wind was cold. 18 competitors took part and we ran a round robin format with 3 groups of 3 pairs. The top pair from each group and the best loser went onto play in the semi finals. 

There was some excellent bowling in all groups with some very close games. The semi finals were between Pat McArthur and John Townsend v Joan Sanderson and Dave Rimmer with Pat and John progressing to the final. The other semi final was between Jackie Jackson and Dave Wilson v Noreen Lewis and Tony Wakefield with Noreen and Tony progressing to the final. The final was a very close game but Noreen and Tony took the lead and won the game 21-17.
