President’s Day Results 2022
A good turn out again to support our President John Ashcroft. The weather started out fine but turned cold in the afternoon. It felt like winter!
Again, a good buffet was made by our ladies – thanks to all our members who gave cakes and raffle prizes. It was very much appreciated. All monies raised by this competition is for the designated fund for “new mower equipment”
Some very good bowling took place – the men singles knock-out – run by our Chairman Keith and the ladies round robin run by Janice & Sue M. Many thanks to them all.
The Mens consolation runner up was Mike McCormick & winner Stan Davies. Well done to both -this was their first time as comp winners at Crossens.
The runner up in the Men’s President Competition was Mike Dunlop and the well-deserved winner who played well all day was Ted Morell.
The ladies final was a very close competition with the winner Noreen Lewis winning by 1 point –– again a first time winner at Crossens – runner up Sue Davies.
The presentation was given by the President who thanked all the helpers and the members for competing so well. Although it was a long day it was a very sociable and enjoyable day. We hope you enjoyed it.
