May Random Pairs Competition 2026

What a beautiful day yesterday to hold a bowling competition, plenty of sunshine and a cool breeze occasionally.  Some excellent bowling throughout the day and some very close matches. In the main competition the semi- finals were between Pauline Rimmer & Gary Hayes v Sue Mountford & Terry Corfield and Pat McArthur & Steve Barnes v Janice Hobson & Dave Wilson, both very close. Sue & Terry and Pat & Steve came through to play in the final which was an excellent game with Pat and Steve winning to become our May Random Pairs Winners 2026. Congratulations to them both.

We also had a consolation round for those who had lost their first game. We had semi-finals between Pat Cropper and Ronnie Southern v Brenda Gillings & Mo Ahmady and Debbie Barnes & Ralph Upton v Geoff Bixter (lady) & Dave Rimmer. Once again close matches but Brenda & Mo and Geoff & Dave came through to play in a close final which was won by Geoff & Dave, congratulations to them both.
