Dates for End of Season 2023
Monday 18TH September 2023 – INDOOR BOWLS (short mat)– AT DUNES LEISURE CENTRE, Southport 1.30 – 3.30. Meet at 1.20 p.m.
If anybody would like to know how to play the game, Fred Douglas, (Victoria Park) has kindly offered to talk it through with you – meet early at 12.15 Bowls available at the Centre. Cost – pay at Centre is £2.20. You will need to pay for car parking but you get a refund at the desk.
We are having our End of Season award night at Southport Old Links Golf Club, Churchtown, onSATURDAY 28TH OCTOBER 7pm to midnight. As well as the Awards Presentation we will be having a disco. Tickets are now on sale priced £22.00 and include a hot buffet & Dessert, as well as a raffle and stand up bingo. We are hoping to raffle a Christmas Hamper, (with donations from our members) as a Grand raffle prize. I have done a suggested list and there will be a box in the Bowling Hut until the end of season to put your donations. Alternatively, please contact me.
This is the first time we have tried this type of event. Please support the Club – bring your family, friends and neighbours!!
